Winner Winner, Birds Eye Chicken Dinner

Birds Eye - Small girl with Dipper and Small boy with crispy Chicken Grill

With two small children, dinner time can often be the most stressful time of the day. There is just so much to worry about. Firstly, you must try to juggle work, and other commitments, with actually planning and preparing food. Then there is the fact that there is huge pressure to make sure that meals are nutritious, that the kids get five a day, and that their food contains no nasties like colours and preservatives. FINALLY, there is the fact that little people are maddeningly capricious and will generally pick the worst time to suddenly decide they hate their previous favourite dish or throw food at their sibling. With all these things to worry about, and the fear of judgment from other parents, is it any wonder that modern parents may come to dread mealtimes? Luckily, Birds Eye Chicken can come to the rescue.

Some frozen chicken products get a bad reputation these days. However, Birds Eye Chicken products are actually made with only the best stuff. Birds Eye Chicken is made with 100% chicken breast, and has no colours or preservatives. Chicken is also packed with protein and is a great choice for growing kids.

We are all aware that a balanced dinner time meal should comprise of three key parts. Ideally, they should have vegetables, starchy carbohydrates, and a protein source. Birds Eye chicken products can be combined with a number of interesting vegetables and carbohydrates to create all kinds of balanced teatime meals. The chickens used in Birds Eye products are also barn reared and are never kept in cages.

Both the children love to eat Birds Eye Chicken products with baked sweet potato chips, and peas or carrots. For a great family meal on a summer evening we also love to enjoy Birds Eye Chicken with salad, new potatoes and homemade egg mayonnaise. Another great family meal option Birds Eye Chicken Grills with risotto. Birds Eye products keep even fussy family members happy with minimal stress. As you can see in the picture above, Biggest loves Crispy Chicken Grills best but Littlest always insists on Dippers. With both products in the freezer it is still really easy to put together a family meal that keeps everyone happy – and their smiles say it all.

I will always keep Birds Eye products in our freezer. I know they are made with only high quality ingredients. In addition, the children love them and they help to make sure that one of the most stressful times of the day runs smoothly. There is also a huge range of products  and variety, keeping the whole family happy.

  1. I love a quick and easy mid-week dinner. We tend to have chicken nuggets, chips and veg / dips whenever the kids have friends over for a playdate and it’s always a hit 🙂

  2. We love Birdseye chicken – it’s so lovely to be able to serve something up that I know my son isn’t going to turn his nose up at! I do try to mix it up with the extras and get him to try different veg, but it’s good to know that even if he won’t touch anything else, he’ll always eat the chicken!

  3. I actually had no idea they were 100pc chicken breast which makes them a great stand by for a quick and easy dinner with little mouths to feed.

  4. I love cooking from scratch but we’re all busy and it’s super important to me that I have healthy backups in the freezer. Great that these are made from good, simple ingredients.
