It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The sparkle and glow of the season is creeping in, just around every corner. You can glimpse lighted trees through frosty windows and holly wreaths on doors. Shops are well stocked with stollen and mince pies. And HomeSense have released their beautiful selection of Christmas decorations and accessories.
I was lucky enough to be invited to a HomeSense festive blogging event and get the chance to peruse their beautiful Christmas sparkly things while drinking prosecco – pretty appealing as evenings go, especially as my nights usually involve drinking tea in my pyjamas and bed by ten.
It was a night of good food, good company and gorgeous objects at the Lost and Found in Birmingham. Meeting up with some lovely blogging friends, including Emma Bradley from Emma and 3 and Emma’s Savvy Savings, was also a rare treat.
HomeSense Christmas Range
The colour and style of HomeSense’s range this year is all about luxury and opulence – but without a huge price tag. The focus is silver and gold and the objects and décor looked truly magnificent in their display. Here are some of my favourite items:
Finally, I must mention that the staff at the Lost and Found in Birmingham were fantastic. Foolishly, I left it too late in claiming one of the chocolate brownies that were served after the canapés and there were none left by the time I got there. A member of their staff instantly went in search of more for me and was so apologetic that he had found the kitchen closed. Their staff were incredibly polite and attentive all evening, making it feel truly special.
If you are looking to add a touch of class and splendour to your Christmas accessories this year, I would recommend checking out HomeSense. Now that December is finally here, and our decoration embargo is lifted, I can’t wait to get in the festive spirit and add to our own Christmas items.

Aaah this is a lovely post — reflective of a lovely night! It was so nice to meet you Danielle — it’s always so nice to catch up with other bloggers properly. Social media is good but real life is much better! Especially when there’s Prosecco 😉 X
It was lovely to meet you too. I had a lovely evening and the prosecco was great – my headache the nest day not quite as fun though! x
That looks like it was a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing it with us.
